Supporter Contribution Terms

1. Who operates the festival

I’Mpossible Film Festival is a festival project and public-facing trading identity operated by Nima Media Ltd , a company registered in England and Wales under company number 14839470, with its registered office at 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX. I’Mpossible Film Festival is not a separate legal entity or a registered charity.

2. What a supporter contribution is

A supporter contribution is a voluntary payment made to help the festival develop and deliver its activities. It is not a charitable donation and is not eligible for Gift Aid.

Unless a specific benefit is clearly stated in writing, a contribution is not a purchase of goods or services. It does not provide shares, ownership, voting rights, editorial influence, judging influence, repayment rights or any financial return.

3. Supporter levels

Supporters may choose their own contribution amount. Names such as Friend, Supporter, Advocate and Patron are recognition levels only. They do not create membership, sponsorship rights or guaranteed benefits unless those benefits are expressly described on the payment page.

4. How contributions may be used

Contributions may be used for festival development and administration, platform and payment fees, promotion, accessibility, awards, screenings, filmmaker activities and related operating costs. Nima Media Ltd may allocate contributions between these needs at its reasonable discretion.

5. Festival changes

The festival may change its dates, format, programme, categories, awards, screening arrangements or other activities. A supporter contribution is made to support the festival generally and is not tied to a guaranteed physical event, screening, award or other outcome unless this is expressly agreed in writing.

6. Public acknowledgement

We will publicly acknowledge a supporter only where they have given permission. A supporter may ask us to correct or remove their name from future acknowledgements by contacting us. We cannot always remove a name from material that has already been printed, archived or distributed.

7. Payments and payment processing

Payments are processed by the payment provider identified on the checkout page. The provider processes card and payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. Nima Media Ltd does not normally receive full card details.

8. Refunds

Supporter contributions are normally final once processed. Please contact us as soon as possible if a payment was made in error. We will review reasonable requests and will refund duplicate or unauthorised payments, or any payment where a refund is required by law. Payment-processing fees may be non-refundable where the payment provider does not return them.

9. Sponsorship and commercial partnerships

These terms apply to public supporter contributions. Sponsorship packages, advertising, brand partnerships and other commercial arrangements are subject to a separate written agreement.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to that, Nima Media Ltd is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from a supporter contribution.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply in the supporter’s country of residence.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The version available when a contribution is made will apply to that payment. Questions or refund requests may be sent to hello@impossiblefilmfest.com .
